I can thank Sandy and Priscilla for the title there, I'll explain why later.
SO, on Friday there was the graduation rehearsal. We sat in the lunchroom just hanging out for a while, then we got ushered into the auditorium for a boring few hours of telling us how to walk and stand and sit. So after Mr. Fitta finished torturing us with that, we all went back to the cafeteria, where a barbecue had been prepared for us! Hooray! I didn't really eat much at all, but it was still fun! Then, when they finished with the food, everyone got A) Our cap and gown (YAY!), B) Our tickets for graduation (Meh.), and C) A surprisingly nice shoulder backpack thing (Woo!). Then after all that nonsense was done, I called my dad for a ride home, and told him to bring my sister Kiera who had just flown into town that morning. I only asked to bring her so that Sandy and Priscilla could say hello and hug her.
So after that we went home and then we sat around and talked and then we went out for sushi but I didn't actually eat any sushi. BUT a tempura ice cream was ordered at the end, and good god that tasted good.
And that was Friday.
SATURDAY WAS GRADUATION. I'll spare you the details of the ceremony since it was boring, but after it was done everyone went outside to take pictures, and we lost Sandy for a bit, but then found her, and everyone took so many pictures. So many. My graduation hat also gave me REALLY bad hat hair. >_>
So then I went home with the family, and we had a little family party at home, and it was fun. Highlights of the night included shooting high angle shots at my aunt with a Nerf pistol. Got $170 and a $50 Visa gift card there. PURCHASING POWA.
On Sunday, I went to Schuler's party, and that was preeeetty fun. First thing, the night before Sandy had talked about getting graduation presents for friends, and guilt tripped me into doing so as well. So on Sunday morning before Schuler's party, Sandy and I went to Eastview to go shopping! There was also a bit of shenanigans at Macy's and JCPenney with me trying on clothes, but I just have no swagger at all, sadly. Though to be fair, I looked like a hoodlum with the crap they had at JCP.
So after shopping my dad drove us to Schuler's party, and so we hung out for a bit and examined the huge dog at attendance (HUGE). Anna arrived soon after, and we continued to hang out until someone got out the ladder golf. I'm not gonna describe it, but it quickly turned into a game of throwing hard balls at the other team and trying to hit them. I got hit in the nipple. It really goddamn hurt.
So then Mike and Cornrow arrived somewhere in that time frame, then the food got served, which I ate, and then DESSERT got served, which I ate plenty of. After dessert, more ladder golf, this time playing with actual rules and scoring. I lost a bunch.
When it got dark, we migrated to the porch while people started leaving, and the Priscilla arrived, and things started getting really silly and inappropriate, and there was a big balloon fight and Mariah needs to learn some manners, and then I had to leave, and I was sad.
SO THEN MONDAY. Monday was a goddamn awesome day. Sterling's grad party was Monday, so about 2:30 I start walking to his house. I get there at about 3, and find 6 or so people out back jumping on the trampoline. They immediately leaped off and hugged me. Sterling's party then mostly passed in a blur of trampoline, water balloons, Mountain Dew, and fun. God it was fun. Highlights included karaoke, making Inception balloons (A balloon inside a balloon... INCEPTION), Never Have I Ever, and yeah.
When it got darker, we all walked down to Cobbs Hill for no real reason, and went down to the playground for a ROUSING game of Truth or Dare. I don't think anyone picked Truth. After an hour or so of that fun, we decided to head back, and Jakiem and I had a piggyback race for a bit. I carried Priscilla for a while, but totally lost to Jakiem carrying Sandy.
We got back to Sterling's house, and went out back and just lied on the trampoline and talked and cuddled and it was nice, but I had to leave because I was silly, and I wish I didn't. But ah well.
AND SO THAT WAS MY WEEKEND.
Oh yes, the Blue Eyes White Dragon. Well, on Monday I was looking through Sandy's phone, and she had me listed as Blue Eyes White Dragon! Because I have blue eyes and am white and 2 out of 3 isn't bad. Then later on, while everyone was spooning on the trampoline, Priscilla mentioned that if I had a 6-pack, wore my contacts, and did something not half-assed with my hair, then I'd be pretty damn sexy. I'm paraphrasing here, don't quote me on this.
I correlated Priscilla saying I could be a sexy beast to dragon, and thus begins my personal mission to become a Blue Eyes White Dragon.
SO THAT WAS MY WEEKEND.
